Senior Partner, Tim Porter-O'Grady Associates, Inc.

An internationally recognized pioneer of nursing professional governance and shared leadership with more than 40 years in healthcare. Dr. Porter O'Grady has consulted with more than 500 institutions worldwide, authored 33 books and over 250 journal publications, and holds faculty appointments including Clinical Professor at Emory University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and an eleven-time winner of the AJN Healthcare Book of the Year Award.

Dr. Bob Hess, PhD, MSN, RN, FAAN

Founder & CEO, Forum for Shared Governance

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Forum for Shared Governance. Dr. Hess developed the Index of Professional Nursing Governance (IPNG), the most widely used validated instrument for measuring nursing governance, relied on by hundreds of healthcare organizations worldwide. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and a nationally recognized authority on shared governance accreditation, research, and professional governance measurement.

Dr. Vicki George, PhD, RN, FAAN

Chief Executive Officer, Nursing Consulting Partners

A nationally recognized expert in Magnet® designation and professional governance with more than three decades of chief nursing executive experience. Dr. George has guided more than 500 organizations through Magnet® Recognition, published extensively on peer review and professional governance, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.

Marcus Lannie, M.Eng.

Chief Executive Officer, NELP

Marcus is Chief Executive Officer of the Nursing Excellence Leadership Platform. For nearly 15 years he has built technology for nurses, selling first a company that developed AI-powered teddy bears to slow dementia in memory care facilities and later a cybersecurity company that protected healthcare organizations from AI-driven cyber attacks. Marcus' passion is building technology for under-resourced groups whose work creates an outsized impact on society, and nursing has been close to his heart since his first day volunteering in memory care.
